Ultracore - Xbox One & Series

The Comeback of a Lost Classic: Ultracore

Originally conceived in the early 1990s and long thought lost, Ultracore is a revival of what was once known as Hardcore. Developed by ININ and brought back to life in collaboration with DICE and Strictly Limited, this Xbox One and Series title serves as a heartfelt tribute to retro 2D action games. After a quarter-century, players can finally engage with in-depth mechanics and classic run ‘n gun action that defined an era.

Unforgettable Run ‘n Gun Mechanics

At its core, Ultracore delivers the frantic gameplay that run ‘n gun enthusiasts crave. The game features five large and intricately designed stages packed with secrets, challenges, and formidable mid- and end-bosses. Each stage is a unique environment that rewards exploration, encouraging players to seek out hidden items and power-ups as they blast through waves of enemies.
