Game premise and objectives

Ultra Mech Directorate is a sci-fi rogue-lite where you pilot the Ultra Mech, a customizable and powerful weapon of the Directorate. Your goal is to restore glory and stability to the Directorate by battling enemy factions on various battle-torn planets. Throughout your missions, you can rescue marines from imprisonment, choosing to either fight alongside them or send them home for rewards in future runs.

Combat and customization

The game features a customizable skill and weapon system that allows you to create a build tailored to your playstyle. You can find and mix various skills, turrets, weapons, and movement items, each with differing rarities and effects. Skills are socketed into different categories, such as attack and defense, with the ability to enhance these skills using boosters. The game also includes auto-turrets that can be modified and enhanced with skills for added strategic depth.
