UBOOTSIM

Type VIIC submarine command

UBOOTSIM is a PC WWII submarine simulator set in November 1941, where you command a Type VIIC U-boat in the Strait of Gibraltar. You search for ships, calculate a firing solution and choose when to launch torpedoes.

Sighting and firing

Use the periscope’s compass, elevation and target tracking to line up a shot, or listen through the hydrophone to find ships without surfacing. The Torpedo Data Computer can be operated manually or set to automatic. A tracking window shows each torpedo’s run toward its target. You can also use the deck gun against surface targets.
