Trumps Of Albion

Game premise and mechanics

Trumps Of Albion is a card-based tactical game set in a version of Britain after the fall of Camelot. Players navigate a map of the British Isles, using cards to move through locations and engage in tactical duels governed by a charge-time clock. The game’s mechanics revolve around a deck of cards assigned to each player, where every action, whether crossing a route or attacking an opponent, is determined by the cards in hand.

Combat and tactics

Combat occurs in instanced duels, where players use their cards to strike at opponents. The defense each player has is linked to the card just committed in play. Since players are always working with a fixed number of cards dealt by fate, up to sixty daily, the stakes are high, and every decision can lead to irreversible consequences.
