Game premise and objective

Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is a 3D platforming game that combines action, puzzles, and adventure. In the game, you control three heroes who aim to return their extraordinary gifts to the Artifact known as Trine. However, their meddling with powers they don't fully understand leads to Trine shattering, allowing a heartless ancient sorcerer to escape. With only a broken artifact as their guide, the heroes must repair the damage they've caused and prevent further catastrophe.
