Running a small country
Treasury of Lies is a PC strategy game about governing a small country for ten years, divided into 40 quarters. You manage money, intelligence agents, news and voter pressure, with a crisis in every quarter. Most turns are turn-based and take as long as you like, but breaking-news events start a clock.
Budgets and bonds
You set taxes, borrow money and allocate spending across six lines. Each pound shows what it buys, while the bond market watches your choices. Keeping the market calm is one part of running the country, alongside responding to events and maintaining support among voters.
