Word-based tower defense

Towers of Babble is a PC word game and tower defense game. You spell words to create buildings, then place them on a map to gather resources and fight waves of enemies. Each noun creates a building with stats and abilities tied to the word: AXE harvests wood, FORT makes a tower with extra health and armor, and DOCTOR creates a weak tower that heals nearby structures.

Adjectives and verbs make mods you can attach to buildings to boost their stats and add abilities. Building a useful defense means combining words and mods to suit the challenge.
