Toward Dawn

A Journey Into Welsh Mythology in Toward Dawn

Toward Dawn invites players into a captivating world inspired by Welsh mythology, blending the charm of retro JRPGs with modern storytelling. As the narrative unfolds, you assume the role of Carys, who finds herself in peril after her temple is raided. A serendipitous encounter with Bleddyn, a feared Gwyllgi, leads them both on a journey of self-discovery and revenge. Crafted for the PC, the game offers around 10 hours of engaging content, allowing players to explore its rich landscapes at their own pace.

Role-Playing Dynamics and Tactics

Combat in Toward Dawn shines through a refreshing turn-based battle system that encourages strategic thinking. Break your enemies’ poise to remove their actions and open them up to devastating counterattacks. The absence of random encounters means each battle is intentional, putting emphasis on the character development and tactics you've chosen. With three distinct difficulty modes (Story, Classic, and Hard) you can tailor the challenge to your preference.
