Underwater farming

Tidesong is a farming game for PC set in Coral Cove, an underwater village of divers, merfolk and fishfolk. You take over a run-down seabed farm and work to restore the Old Coral, a great coral that has turned white and gone quiet. Farming means raking sand and growing 28 crops, including sea lettuce, nori, kelp, sea grapes and glowing algae. Silt settles on the crops overnight, so you brush it off each morning instead of watering them.

Four ocean currents structure the year, each with its own crops, weather and festivals. The Deep Cold brings snow to the seabed. You can raise purple urchins, spider crabs and bluefin tuna, and bring up a seahorse foal to ride. A baby octopus or googly-eyed urchin can live as a pet.
