Survival on a shrinking island

TIDEBREAK is a PC survival game about building a base and fighting through nights on an island that the sea steadily swallows. You start with nothing, gather wood and grass, and craft tools to chop trees and mine materials. The tide rises three metres every night and stays there, shrinking the island from beach to islet and leaving less ground to defend.

Days last six minutes and nights last three. At night, creatures come out of the water. Build a camp with a workbench, fire, furnace, anvil and smokehouse, then add walls, gates, spike traps, torches and tide walls to hold them back. A tide wall can buy your base another night.
