Throw Weight: Fleet Doctrine

Fleet combat

Throw Weight: Fleet Doctrine is a PC space strategy game about commanding fleets in a hard science-fiction setting. Ships rely on missiles, defensive guns and electronic warfare rather than energy shields or laser beams. You manage fleets from corvettes to dreadnoughts on a galactic map, then take command in real-time battles when opposing fleets meet.

Formations matter in battle. You can arrange ships in a line, wedge, wall or screen, choose tight or loose spacing, or make a formation in the editor. Set each fleet’s engagement range, rate of fire, target priorities and retreat thresholds, then let its captains carry out those orders.
