Throneheart: Rise of a Dynasty

A medieval town builder

Throneheart: Rise of a Dynasty is a medieval city builder and dynasty sim for PC. You start with a village and build it into a town, while guiding the ruling family across generations. Each villager has a name, age, family and job, and the game is open-ended: your dynasty rules as long as its bloodline survives.

Building and supplies

You lay roads, mark house lots and plant fields. Families build and improve their own homes when they have water, food, access to a market and enough savings. A settlement can grow from a camp into a town with burgher houses, a great church and a castle. Each new realm starts on a randomly generated map, with rivers, ponds, woods, stone and iron in different places. A trade road crosses the map from one edge to the other.
