The War of the Worlds: Red Horizon

Open-world survival

The War of the Worlds: Red Horizon is a hardcore horror survival game for PC, based on H.G. Wells’ story. You have a week to survive an alien invasion in an open world while avoiding giant machines that kill on sight. Dehydration and starvation are threats too, so you’ll scavenge and loot for food, resources and tools.

The military makes a weak attempt to fight back, and you can commandeer its vehicles to take on the invaders. Other humans pose a danger as well: they may try to take your supplies, vehicle or life.
