The Trial of Kharzoid

Brick-breaking adventure

The Trial of Kharzoid is an arkanoidvania for PC, combining paddle-and-ball brick-breaking with exploration, bosses and role-playing elements. Kharzoid, a dark wizard, sends prisoners’ souls into magical skulls and traps them in a maze of levels. You play as a hero taking on that challenge, fighting through deadly stages and returning to Kharzoid’s tower to face him.

The game draws on Arkanoid, Castlevania, Pinball Quest and Kirby’s Block Ball. Its levels include multiple paddle sections, and you can find chicken hidden in walls. The story unfolds in the land of Xyleria, where talking to NPCs reveals more about the world and its lore.
