The Things We Bury

Unearthing Memories in The Things We Bury

In The Things We Bury, players step into the role of a Memory Architect, tasked with navigating the intricate and often surreal landscape of a woman's memories. As she lies in a coma, her thoughts are twisted by a mysterious presence, presenting challenges to reshape her identity amidst emotional turmoil. This psychological deckbuilder creates a space where choices matter, and the outcomes are as varied and unpredictable as memories themselves.

Navigating Psychological Landscapes

Memories are not merely flashes of the past in this game; they represent battles against one's own psyche. Each card you play carries weight, flourishing with meaning that connects to deeper regrets and pivotal moments of her life. Combat is symbolic, converting emotional challenges into tangible gameplay experiences. Players engage in battles while undergoing conversations between the patient and her therapist, grounding each memory in a sense of emotional truth.
