In The Thing Remastered Edition for the Xbox One and Series, players step into a chilling narrative inspired by the 1982 cult classic film. You assume the role of Cpt J.F. Blake, leading a U.S. Special Forces team sent to unravel the gruesome mystery behind the disappearance of a scientific group in the frigid expanse of Antarctica. Here, survival hinges on teamwork and wits as you face a malevolent, shapeshifting alien.

Atmospheric Terror Awaits in Antarctica

The remaster enhances the original 2002 third-person survival horror shooter with modern improvements like 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS. The visuals bring the harsh, frozen environment to life, immersing players in a chilling atmosphere that reflects constant danger. Each shadow and sound can signal something lurking nearby, heightening tension with every step taken toward discovery.
