The Sun and Moon

Jump to New Heights in The Sun and Moon

At its core, The Sun and Moon is a platformer that reimagines movement mechanics in an engaging and challenging way. Winning the Ludum Dare 29 game jam showcases its innovative gameplay where players can transition between the surface and underground. The ability to “dive” provides a fresh twist on classic platforming conventions, pushing players to think creatively as they navigate through intricately designed levels.

Navigate an Inverted Gravity Challenge

From the moment players start, the objective in The Sun and Moon is clear: collect three orbs in each level and leap into the awaiting wormhole. However, that simplicity quickly belies the gameplay's complexity. Strategic use of gravity reversal can launch you skyward or submerge you into the depths, requiring precision and timing to master the intricacies of every stage. The combination of platforming and a unique mechanic keeps the pace exhilarating.
