The hidden layer

The Split Layer is a PC game set in a liminal world where the paths you see with the naked eye hide another layer of reality. You use a tablet to reveal that layer and find routes that aren't visible otherwise.

Finding the key

Move through the area, switch the tablet on and off to inspect the surroundings, and look for a key. You need to get out before “IT” gets you. Move with WASD, look around with the mouse, and use E to interact or grab the key. Shift makes you sprint, and ESC pauses the game.
