The Roc

Game premise and characters

The Roc is a Chinese AVG (adventure game) that centers on the lives of two main characters, Wu Shengyou and Zhou Qing. Wu Shengyou moves to a large city due to his parents' work. Zhou Qing is a girl who enjoys cultivation novels and struggles to differentiate between the virtual worlds of these stories and her own reality. The game focuses on their interaction and the ordinary aspects of life in the city, not revolving around themes of romance or youth.

Gameplay and mechanics

The game involves exploration of the storyline through dialogues and interactions among characters. Players will navigate through the lives of Wu Shengyou and Zhou Qing, uncovering the simple yet impactful events that constitute their everyday experiences. As an AVG, the emphasis is on narrative progression rather than combat or puzzle-solving.
