The Pale City

A Dark Tale Awaits in The Pale City

In The Pale City, a haunting narrative unfolds in a world unlike any other, where children emerge from the depths of the earth, and a lone city thrives under the watchful eyes of a silent deity. This PC game plunges players into a grim storyline, following a mercenary tasked with uncovering the last, powerful artifact of a long-gone sorcerer. The search for this relic takes him into the shadows of society, battling against powerful factions and uncovering secrets lurking in oppressive darkness.

Characters Shape a Bleak Narrative

Written by novelist Kyle Muntz, the narrative emphasizes character-driven storytelling as it explores themes of survival and existential dread. As players navigate the complexities of morality in a semi-open world, choices bear heavy consequences. The mercenary isn’t just searching for an artifact; he’s wrestling with the emptiness of his own existence in a city devoid of heroes. This adds a rich layer of depth to interactions and decisions throughout the story.
