Turn-Based Combat with Shared Tiles

In The Other Order, combat is predicated on a distinctive tile system. Both you and your enemies share a pool of tiles, each with the power to reshape the dynamics of the battlefield. Players build chains, groupings of tiles of the same color linked in ascending number order, as well as groups, which comprise tiles of the same value but varying colors. Every strategic choice opens up layers of complexity, as a single change can not only damage your foe but also bolster their strategy.
