Galactic war strategy

The Ostrakon is a PC strategy game about defending a human frontier from the Hollow, an invading force that takes or destroys human worlds. You lead a small force based around one station, a few ships, and the families who crew them, then fight to take and hold star systems.

The war plays out in turns across the galaxy. To claim a system, you must win the battle at its command station and hold the siege. Captured systems bring their refineries, shipyards, and residents under your control. The Hollow enter through the galaxy’s spiral arms, so holding the gateway of each arm can block their advance.
