The Long Shift

Factory automation on Earth

The Long Shift is a factory automation and exploration game for PC, set on an Earth ruled by AI. You wake in an abandoned depot with a worn chassis and a low battery, then turn scrap into components and build a workshop into an industrial network. A voice on the radio knows your number, and a signal leads through the ruins of the world that came before.

Production starts with drills, smelters and assemblers connected by conveyors and transfer arms. Pipes and tanks move fluids. You trace bottlenecks, redesign lines and manufacture research drives to unlock more machines. The aim is to build tools and production capacity that support larger operations, while keeping the factory supplied with resources.
