The Last Shop Before Kingsfall

Shopkeeping on the road to Kingsfall

The Last Shop Before Kingsfall is a first-person shop sim set in the medieval fantasy town of Hearthstep, the last stop before the dangerous road to Kingsfall. You order goods, place them on shelves and displays by hand, set prices, and ring up customers at the counter. You can haggle over prices, buy furniture, expand the shop with rooms, and hire a clerk as the business grows.

The shop’s stock includes more than a hundred wares, from swords, bows and armor to potions and charms. Some goods come through the order book; others are earned by mastering a trade, learned from townsfolk in return for favors, found around town, or recovered on expeditions as relics that need forging before sale. You also have to watch the door: some visitors come in without intending to pay.
