The Last Ledger

Pawnshop business in Huaian

The Last Ledger is a PC pawnshop game set in Huaian’s South Market as war draws closer. You run a small shop, examining customers’ belongings, deciding what they’re worth and negotiating a price. Heirlooms, jade pendants and inkstones pass across the counter, but age and appearance don’t guarantee an item is genuine.

Inspecting and buying

Pick up each object and turn it over to look for wear, engravings, repairs, materials and signs of its craftsmanship. A repaired piece might still be genuine; an old one might be a fake. Your judgment determines whether you buy an item at a bargain or lose money on a convincing imitation.
