The Last Braincell: Escape is an asymmetrical multiplayer game for PC. One player assumes the role of the fugitive, while the others act as police officers. The fugitive's objective is to gather resources and conceal their identity in order to reach an escape point before being caught by the officers. The officers work together to collect clues, search the area, and track down the fugitive.

The game features two main characters: the Fugitive (Orange Braincell) and the Police Officer (Blue Braincell). The Fugitive is portrayed as clever, chaotic, and overconfident. His gameplay involves improvising and hiding in unexpected places, often utilizing scrappy tactics that may not seem sound at first. The Police Officer is alert and persistent, focusing on gathering clues from civilians and cooperating with other officers to anticipate the Fugitive’s movements before he escapes.
