The Girl Who Sees

A Journey Through Philippine Fantasy in The Girl Who Sees

The Girl Who Sees merges the realms of point-and-click adventure and tactical RPG to shed light on the lesser-explored history of WWII alongside rich Philippine mythology. Set in 1945, players follow Quina, a village girl, as she navigates the complexities of life under Japanese occupation. Her quest begins when she aids a dwarf in deciphering a mysterious scroll, hoping it will reveal the significance behind the Tagalog words she sees everywhere.

Choosing Your Path: Battle or Discovery

Gameplay in The Girl Who Sees revolves around your choice of progression through two distinct modes: Battle Mode and Discovery Mode. In Battle Mode, players level up by engaging in turn-based combat against mythical creatures. Crafting potions with the help of local characters enhances your abilities, allowing for diverse tactical options during battles. Alternatively, the Discovery Mode emphasizes educational elements, challenging players with trivia based on Philippine culture and history to progress.
