Defending the planet

The Developer is a PC defense game about a developer using a control device to fight alien lifeforms and secure planetary domination. You defend against successive waves with turrets scattered across the map, then move to the next planet if you survive them all.

Turrets and power

The turrets are pre-installed by the vanguard. Cannon and Missile turrets each have three levels, with higher levels increasing how many bullets or missiles they can fire. They draw on the control device’s power capacity, so you’ll need to switch turrets on and off to manage the available power.
