The Crooked Table

Social deduction at the table

The Crooked Table is a four-player social deduction card game set at a candlelit tavern table. Each player gets a secret role: two Team Players try to raise the shared Group Score, a Saboteur tries to lower it, and a Neutral pursues a personal Player Score. The team that reaches its score condition wins, but the Neutral can take the victory by scoring enough points for themselves.

Cards, claims and calls

Each turn, you play one card face down and announce what it is. You can tell the truth, claim a card you don’t have, or disguise one card as another. Group Score changes stay hidden until the end of the round, when they’re added together, so players have to work out who helped or hindered the table.
