The Caretaker

Scrubbing Your Way to Freedom in The Caretaker

In The Caretaker, players find themselves in a rather unfortunate predicament: tasked with cleaning up the all-too-messy dungeons left by pesky adventurers. Set in a whimsical dungeon environment, this game combines the dungeon crawler genre with an unexpected twist, maintenance. Rather than delving into treasure hunts or combat, your focus shifts to ensuring the dungeon remains in top shape, all while avoiding the ire of the dungeon master.

Cleaning Up the Chaos Left by Heroes

As you navigate through the dungeon, your responsibilities accumulate like dust. Cleaning isn’t the only chore; you must also refill treasure chests, reactivate the traps, and feed the resident monsters. Ignoring their needs could lead to a noisy awakening, which may alert the dungeon master to your presence, potentially resulting in dire consequences. Players must remain vigilant, especially when they encounter spiders, which can pose a significant risk if you wander too close beneath them.
