A 5e roguelike RPG
The Bell Tolls is a roguelike, turn-based RPG for PC built on the 5th Edition ruleset of a tabletop role-playing game. You assemble a party to fight a nameless evil and its spreading Corruption. Each run has a different map layout, encounters and rewards, and the evil’s lair appears in a different dungeon.
The clock and the map
You roam a node-based overworld, choosing a route through dungeons and other stops as you build up your party. Time passes while you travel. At midnight, a bell tolls and the Corruption spreads across the map, making enemies in corrupted areas stronger. If it reaches town, the final boss gains more power.
