The 08:17 Problem is a PC idle clicker about turning a simple breakfast of Toast and butter into an operation that grows from a kitchen into an industry and bureaucracy, then begins affecting reality. You click to make Toast by hand, buy production facilities, and combine upgrades with production milestones as the numbers climb.

The operation keeps producing while you’re away, for up to eight hours at half output. You can also keep clicking actively. Golden Toasts, butterstorms, rare visitors and breakfast missions add events and extra goals as your production expands.
