Tainted

A card-based RPG in Eden

Tainted is a narrative card-based RPG set in a dystopian near-future. You resist the authorities in Eden using charm, force, or subtlety. Water is the city’s most valuable commodity, and loyalty is treated as a resource.

Rand’s promised future

Eden is ruled by President Rand, whose government demands compliance and treats truth as relative. Rand’s followers look to the coming completion of AIN SOPH, a superintelligence they believe will answer humanity’s prayers and lift the burden of human fallibility. Rebels and traitors stand against that vision, and the game asks where you stand. The faithful expect AIN SOPH to be completed in only a few months.
