System Overload

A 2D shooter in Helios

System Overload is an acrobatic 2D shooter about Vicky fighting to free Helios from its oppressive robot government. You climb the city’s towering districts, from the graffiti-covered Waste to the art-deco skyscrapers of the Light, battling robots and their bosses along the way.

Combat and weapons

Parrying is central to combat. It reloads your gun, refreshes movement abilities in mid-air, deflects bullets and heals Vicky. Combine that with her movement abilities to keep moving through fights, chaining robot kills and using parries to stay alive.
