SUNSTONE: A Tale of the Briar King

A country under the Briar King

SUNSTONE: A Tale of the Briar King is an 8-bit action-adventure for PC. You wake in a glade with empty hands, then set out to recover eight pieces of the sun, now held beneath the roofs of tombs claimed by the Briar King. Nine tombs lie in the country; one isn’t marked on any map.

The world is arranged as individual screens. Woods, dark barrows, a burned vale and a lake shore stay still until you leave a screen by one of its edges. You move through these areas looking for tombs, their bosses and the stones.
