A turn-based space strategy

Sternenreich is a multiplayer space strategy game about building an empire from a single home world. You settle planets, put up buildings, raise fleets and defend your territory while other players do the same. Production, construction queues, fleet flights and battles advance together on timed moves called ticks.

The long round moves once an hour, so you can leave the game and return later. If an enemy fleet is inbound, you have hours to respond rather than needing to check in every few minutes. PC notifications and phone notifications can alert you to events.
