Five Weapon Technology Trees

Research drives progression through five distinct weapon technology paths, each offering different tactical advantages. Only basic human weapons are available initially, but alien encounters and salvage operations unlock exotic technologies. The PC version includes all five research trees across multiple zones, with each area presenting new challenges and technological discoveries.
