STARCINDER

Third-person space shooter

STARCINDER is a third-person space shooter for PC about carrying the Starseed from the Solar System to a beacon at the edge of the Milky Way. You pilot the last ship, the Starseed, through three acts of increasingly distant routes. Each level sends you toward a jump gate on the horizon, where you must hold position while it charges before moving on.

The route starts at Earth orbit and visits the Moon, Mars, the Main Belt, the outer planets and the Kuiper Belt. It then crosses the Oort Cloud and reaches places including Alpha Centauri, Sirius, the Pleiades and the Orion Nebula. The final act crosses the Sagittarius Arm and Galactic Bar, passes Sagittarius A*, and ends at the Far Beacon.
