First-person liminal exploration

Staircore is a first-person liminal exploration game set in a space between high and low, where you’ve become trapped after a runaway. You traverse the Staircore, searching for different environments and cores. The game has an expected playtime of about two hours.

Trial and warnings

A trial frames the story: you receive a call every day, and the likely outcome is life in prison, with the ward as another possibility. An axe-wielding figure called Psycho or Prosecutor is part of the cast, alongside the phone-carrying Defendant, who is also the player. The named figures also include Chicken stair and Stairbear, the Guardian of the backrooms.
