Splice

One Technician’s Nightmare

In Splice, players step into the shoes of Sam Foster, a rookie security team member at CyroArk, a shadowy scientific research company. Set in an underground bunker in the Arizona desert, the game plunges you into a terrifying atmosphere right from the start. What began as your first week on the job quickly spirals into a nightmare when a horrifying escapee wreaks havoc, leaving you stranded in a secure room with mounting peril outside.

Tension and Escape Room Elements

Drawing on escape room conventions, Splice generates tension as you strategically navigate your surroundings. A security lockdown has triggered, and with your supplies running low, the only way to escape is by rebooting the mainframe. Players are prompted to engage with their environment, scanning the bunker’s hallways through CCTV before making crucial decisions. The suspense steadily intensifies as every sound and movement could be a sign of the lurking creature.
