Space Query 2

Solar System simulator

Space Query 2 is a PC astronomy simulator built around the real Solar System, with positions calculated from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory ephemeris data. You can fly between 26 worlds at their current positions, including the Sun, eight planets, 15 major moons, Pluto and Charon, and Voyager 2 on its actual trajectory. Time control lets you watch the system in real time or choose a date between 1950 and 2250.

You can also drop down to planetary surfaces to inspect features such as craters, canyons and landing sites. The game includes visits to the ISS, Hubble Space Telescope and James Webb Space Telescope at Lagrange point L2.
