SoulForged:Ashborn

Premise and setting

SoulForged: Ashborn is an anime-style hack-and-slash action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic version of Seoul, one year after an alien invasion. Players control ASH, an android girl, as she rises with the resistance group ASHBORN to reclaim the city from the alien legion ARCHALIS. The story unfolds across notable landmarks in Seoul, such as DDP, Sebitseom, Namsan, Gwanghwamun, and COEX.

Combat and weapons

The game features fast-paced, quarter-view hack-and-slash combat where players battle waves of enemies and confront challenging boss encounters. Combat relies on a mix of parries, dodges, and counterattacks, emphasizing timing and skill. Players have access to five different weapons from the beginning: a longsword, dagger, katana, greatsword, and laser blade, allowing for diverse combat styles and strategies.
