Sontaku Soul: Read the Boss

Office etiquette microgames

Sontaku Soul: Read the Boss is a PC collection of fast microgames about Japanese business etiquette. You play Tamako, a new employee, and have only a few seconds to handle each office situation. The tasks include bowing, exchanging business cards, choosing a seat, raising a toast, stamping documents and answering the phone.

Split-second decisions

Each task turns a real etiquette rule into a reflex test. You decide how far to bow, how high to hold out a business card, which seat to take in a taxi or where to hold your glass during a toast. There are over 40 microgames, and there’s little time to hesitate.
