SOME: Space Overlay Mining Empire is a desktop-based space mining game for PC. A block-built station stays in a corner of your screen while a mining ship travels to nearby asteroids, cuts them apart with a laser and brings ore back. Clicks on empty space pass through to the windows underneath, so you can keep using your desktop while the fleet works.

At first, you send each trip yourself: click an asteroid to dispatch the ship, call it home when its hold is full, then unload and sell the ore. Credits pay for upgrades to lasers, cargo capacity and thrusters.
