smoke.exe is a puzzle game for PC that combines elements of hacking and strategy. In this game, you play as a hacker who has a limited amount of time, represented by a cigarette, to set up a sequence of nodes on a 6×6 board. Your goal is to connect these nodes into an auto-hacking routine that will send a signal to a server while managing the resources and constraints of the game's mechanics.

Gameplay mechanics

You will lay out different types of nodes on the board, such as SCAN, BOOST, FORK, and EXPLOIT, each serving a unique function in the signal's journey. Each node consumed resources in the form of burn time. Once you light up the cigarette, the cost for the nodes is deducted all at once, determining how long the signal can run. This mechanic requires you to carefully plan your moves and build efficient connections.
