Discovering Life in Small Town Emo

Small Town Emo takes you on a nostalgic journey through a pixelated world reminiscent of classic GAMEBOY titles. Set in a small New Zealand town, players control Ken, a seventeen-year-old navigating the trials of teenage life. The game blends the humorous awkwardness of the mid-2000s with relatable coming-of-age themes, making it a heartfelt experience for those who remember that era.

Unraveling a Teenage Crush

Ken's story revolves around his crush on his goofy best friend, Fergus. As the two nonchalantly wander through town, players help Ken confront his feelings before the much-anticipated costume party. Through simple dialogues and charming pixel art, the narrative explores not only romance but also the complexities of friendship and the struggles of expressing true emotions in awkward adolescence.
