In 1838, the threat towards the bakufu government intensifies as Genba Kisaragi, a cunning adversary, collaborates with dark forces. This historical context propels Kaina into conflict, as he carries the weight of a bloodline long trained in the art of combating both human and supernatural foes. It’s this rich narrative that adds depth to the player’s journey, motivating each blade swing and weapon throw.
