Running the shop

Shady Shop is a PC shop-management game about keeping a small town store running while deciding whether to cheat customers for extra profit. You order stock from suppliers, unpack crates, fill the shelves, set prices and work the register, counting out change by hand. You can move the furniture and arrange the shop to suit you.

Money is tight: the shelves are half empty, some milk is past its date and rent is due. You can sell the old food as new by changing its expiry date, or give customers less change than they’re owed. Those tricks bring in money, but can catch up with you.
