Farming under contract

Seed & Deed is a farming game about working land that belongs to a landlord. You clear plots, plant and tend crops, then sell the harvest or deliver it to meet the contract. The agreement takes a share of your crops and can charge fees for using tools, with surprise inspections and other clauses changing the terms as you play.

The clauses reveal themselves during play and go into a notebook, where you can read them afterward. Some work in your favor. Meet each season’s delivery requirements and the Office moves you to another farm, where the land and contract rules change. Pay off the deed in installments to own the farm; the ending depends on whether you read the contract.
