Sediment

What it is

Sediment is a pixel-physics sandbox game available on PC. Players interact with a world made up of fifty materials, each with its own physical properties, like density and temperature. You pour, combine, and manipulate these materials to create different outcomes, leveraging the game's realistic physics engine.

Materials and simulation

In the game, materials behave according to real-world physics. Sand flows and settles based on its angle, while water can flood or freeze depending on temperature. Heavier materials, like gold, sink to the bottom when placed in mixtures, giving you a practical way to separate ores. Players can create and customize their own materials, defining properties like density, melting points, and absorption rates through a built-in editor.
